Miguel Martinez-Valle is proud to currently serve as the Chapter President for the National Association of Hispanic Journalists in Philadelphia. He has been a longtime NAHJ member and was part of the board that brought NAHJ back to Philly in 2019.
Miguel is also the bilingual reporter for NBC10 and Telemundo62. He joined the team in 2017, since then he has become an active part of the community and has fallen in love with the Greater Philadelphia area and its people.
Miguel earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Michigan State University and has been recognized with both a Mid Atlantic Emmy Award and a Pacific Southwest Emmy® award.
Born in Guaymas, Mexico, Miguel comes from a supportive Mexican family. He is passionate about LGBTQ issues, immigration, and expanding positive minority representation on television. Apart from serving as the President of the Philadelphia chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, he is also the co-lead for OUT@NBCUniversal in Philadelphia.
When Miguel is not on the news, he enjoys traveling, hiking, going to brunch and listening to podcasts.
